David Schwab and Richard Johnson have been involved in the land-development business in the greater Nashville area since the mid-1980s. They have worked exclusively in the upper end of the market and have developed very affluent neighborhoods with many homes valued well in excess of $1,000,000. They have a strong background in land acquisition, land planning, working with government officials through the zoning and entitlement process, financing, marketing, sales, and promotion. Having incorporated golf courses, a marina, and an equestrian theme within some of their developments, their focus has brought a wide range of recreational opportunities to a large number of families, providing them not just with a home but with a lifestyle matching their interests. Those who know David Schwab well have heard him say that "the Land will talk to a developer if only he will listen." He deeply believes that the land will tell the proper density and theme for a development. If a developer will only listen, the land tells what it will yield, the correct density, and what type of development is suited to the land. Their recent developments include The Governors Club in Brentwood, The Last Plantation in Gallatin, and Lynwood Downs in Williamson County. Current projects include Brandon Park Downs, Avalon, and Avalon Square in Williamson County.
